Can this tripod hold my DSLR or heavy video light?

The ULANZI MT-89 is a lightweight light stand rated for 2.2 lbs / 1 kg. It works best with smartphones with a extra clamp), action cameras, compact cameras, and small LED lights. For heavier gear, keep the center column low and the load centered.

Can I mount my iPhone or Android phone directly?

The MT-89 has a standard 1/4″ screw mount. To use it with a smartphone, you need a phone clamp or holder with a 1/4″ thread, which is not included. It does not attach to phones directly out of the box.

Will this work with my laser level?

ULANZI MT-89 Light Stand fits many laser levels. However, if your device is heavy, has an off-center mounting point, or requires very stable alignment at full height, a heavier-duty stand may be more suitable.

What is this stand best used for?

The MT-89 is designed for mobile creators who need a lightweight stand for small lights, smartphones, and compact cameras. It is not designed to replace heavy studio light stands or professional tripods.
