Does “wireless transmission distance” refer to obstacle-free range or actual usage range?

It typically refers to the obstacle-free line-of-sight distance (e.g., 100m in open areas). Actual range may decrease by 30-50% in environments with walls or interference.

How to turn on or switch AI noise cancellation function of the occiam QY88？

Short press the transmitter’s button to toggle noise cancellation on or off.

Solid Red Light = Noise Cancellation Mode

Does occiam QY88 support onboard recording?

No, it doesn’t support. Because we designed it for simple, easy use—just plug in, power on, record.

Does occiam QY88 support phone speaker playback?

Yes.No need to unplug—just tap play on your phone to hear your recording instantly.

Why do both receiver lights stay solid green when only one transmitter is paired?

Both green lights stay solid when ANY transmitter is paired. They don’t correspond to individual transmitters—just mean “ready to record”!

Does the transmitter’s digital display stay on during recording? Will it drain battery?

No,it lights up briefly when taken out of the case, then turns off. To check battery later, just put it back in the charged case and take it out again.

How does the receiver get power? Will it drain my phone’s battery?

The receiver is powered by your phone via the charging port.

Transmitter is on, but won’t pair with receiver. What to do?

Unplug receiver from phone → put transmitter back in charging case → plug receiver in again → take transmitter out. It will auto-pair.

Why isn’t my transmitter charging in the case?

Check for 2 signs:

1. Transmitter light turns red.

2. Case’s running lights cycle 1→4. If not, clean the case’s charging pins and transmitter’s contacts with an alcohol wipe, then try again.

What devices is occiam QY88 compatible with?

It can be used with smartphones (supporting USB-C / lightning), computers, pad etc. But not compatible with action cameras.

When should I use 1 transmitter vs. 2 transmitters

Use 1 transmitter for solo recording (vlogs, podcasts). Use 2 transmitters for interviews or conversations (2 people speaking).

How many transmitters and receivers can Occiam QY88 connect to at once?

Up to 2 transmitters → 1 receiver. Each set locks to its original receiver (no cross-pairing).
