Why does my phone notification show “No Internet Connection”/”Connected without Internet”?
The camera connects to your phone via Wi-Fi for data transfer. It does not provide internet access; therefore, your phone may display a ‘No Internet Connection’ notificaiton. This is normal and does not affect camera or app functionality.
Why can’t a connection be establised between the camera and the phone?
VPN or DNS filtering apps may cause connectivity issues with the MUFU Video App. Whitelisting the app should resolve this issue. Mobile payment apps can also interfere with connectivity, please close them completely and try connecting again.
How many hours of footage can the camera record on different memory card capacities?
Before being overwritten with new footage: (actual recording time may vary depending on memory card brand and manufacturer)
32GB – approx. 2 hours
64GB (provided) – approx. 4.5 hours
126GB – approx. 9.5 hours
256GB – approx. 19.5 hours
What is the difference between the V40T and V40S?
The only difference between the V40T and the V40S is where the camera is mounted on the helmet. The V40T is mounted directly on top of the helmet, while the V40S is mounted to the right side of the helmet.
Why does the camera Wi-Fi keep turning on and off?
By default, Wi-Fi is enabled for 3 minutes after the camera powers-on. If the camera doesn’t connect to the MUFU Video app within that time frame, it turns off automatically to conserve battery. Power on the camera again to reconnect.
